Ailish & Steven
The wedding film tells the story of a beautiful love & friendship. Ailish and Steven first met through their love of music when they joined a band together and this love of music became a big part of this special day. They even had area of the reception dedicated to Electric Picnic, the place where Steven got down on one knee and asked Ailish to be his wife.
So on a mid-autumn day with all their family and friends, the final piece of the jigsaw was added .
The ceremony was in the historic Dysart Church, which really is a unique place and Fr. Tom Hogan performed a very special and personal ceremony.
After the ceremony, we made the short trip to Dysart O’Dea Castle, a place where Ailish played as a child, to take some photographs with the bridal party.
Afterwards, We made the trip back to the Armada Hotel in Spanish Point, where the fun continued at the reception.
Ailish and Steven’s day was, as any wedding should be in my opinion, about family, friends, good fun and having a great time.
I had a great morning at Ailish’s house meeting up with past brides who are now friends. Mary , Jenny ,Sheila , Samantha, you each looked amazing and it was so great to see you again. Aoife-Belle and Leah did an excellent job as flower-girls. Steven, with his best man Paul and Groomsmen Eddie,Gerry and Rowan did not let the nerves get in the way and were great fun all morning. These two families are so welcoming, we felt like we were part of the family all day long.
Their wedding had so many sweet special touches! Steven`s brother told a fascinating & funny Story about Ailish and Steven in his speech, Gary,Brian, Paul, Aoife and Meabh , performed sentimental songs at the ceremony and Mary, Siobhan and Emma made a wonderful wedding cake.
The band, The Pearls, kept the floor hopping all night and there was great excitement and fun in the air from start to finish.
Thank you Ailish and Steven, for choosing us to be part of a moment so special and precious to the both of you.
